1. Introduction

Welcome to Clofit ("we," "our," or "us"). We are committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and share information when you use our mobile application ("Clofit App") and our website.

2. Information We Collect

When you use Clofit, we may collect the following information:

• Account and profile: Email address, username, display name, profile photo, campus, and the style, body-shape or face-shape preferences you choose to provide.
• Digital wardrobe: Garment photos, background-removed versions, categories, colors, brands, seasons, tags, saved outfits and collections.
• Activity and social data: OOTDs, ratings, likes, comments, follows, saves, Vibe Rooms, trips, streaks and visibility choices.
• AI interactions: Chat messages, optional images and style-memory data required to provide personalized responses.
• Waitlist: Name, email, selected site language, signup source and technical timestamps when you join the website waitlist.

3. How We Use Your Information

We use the collected information for the following purposes:

• To generate personalized outfit suggestions based on your closet, profile, and local weather.
• To power the interactive AI Stylist Chatbot.
• To operate and display the social feed (OOTD stories, wardrobe sharing with approved friends).
• To plan trips and provide weather-aware suggestions.
• To operate accounts, friendships, visibility controls and other requested social features.
• To secure, troubleshoot and improve the App.

4. Data Security & Storage

Application records are stored in Clofit's configured database and media is stored through the storage infrastructure configured for the service. Protected API routes require an access token and apply ownership checks. On iOS, production session credentials are stored in Apple's Keychain. No internet service can guarantee absolute security, so we avoid claiming that risk is zero. We do not sell personal data or wardrobe photos to advertising networks.

5. Third-Party Services

• OpenAI: A garment photo is sent for visual analysis. For AI chat, your prompt, relevant profile preferences, closet metadata, recent conversation and an optional image may be sent to create a personalized answer.
• Open-Meteo: A city or location is sent for geocoding and weather forecasts. Clofit does not need to attach your profile identity to that request.
• Storage and database providers: Depending on deployment, Clofit may use PostgreSQL-compatible infrastructure and object-storage providers such as Cloudflare R2 or Supabase to host application data and media.
• Email providers: Resend or Brevo may process a waitlist email address to deliver the requested confirmation message.

Background removal is performed in Clofit's backend rather than by the language model. Third-party processing remains subject to each provider's applicable terms and privacy policy.

6. Your Rights

You can edit profile information, choose private/friends/public visibility, block users, and delete garments or outfits through available App controls. A complete account-deletion, access, correction and export request process will be published before Clofit's public launch. We will explain any data that must temporarily be retained for security, legal or backup-integrity reasons.

7. Visibility and Media

Your closet is not automatically a public social post. You decide when an outfit or OOTD is private, shared with friends or public. Media files are delivered through storage URLs, so you should avoid uploading images containing sensitive documents, addresses or bystanders who have not consented.

8. Retention and Children

We retain information while an account is active and as needed to operate the requested features. Deletion requests are processed subject to reasonable security, fraud-prevention and backup cycles. Clofit is not intended for children under 13. Users under the age required by their jurisdiction should use Clofit only with the consent of a parent or legal guardian.
